Tastiest Winter Meals

Winter has its downsides, probably more so than any other season, in my opinion. But one of the best aspects about winter is that it's the perfect time to try out some new tasty foods. With the weather getting progressively colder, and more people are stuck inside, it's the perfect time to get into cooking some interesting and tasty dishes. Or if you're one of those people who does not like cooking and prefers takeout, there's interesting options in that realm as well.

I find that I eat cookies way more often in the winter than I do in many other seasons, especially holiday cookies. There's something festive about sugared cookies, especially when you eat them around this time of year.

Soup has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. Mostly because I have a weakness for noodles. But soup is actually a great way to get through the winter, and it's perfect for lunch, dinner, or even a snack.

I'm probably the pickiest pizza eater I know, but despite that, I'll probably never say no to it, regardless of what season it is.

Never did like lasagna when I was a kid, but I actually started to develop a love for it as I grew up. It might actually be one of my favorite foods now, so I cannot recommend it enough for people looking for something tasty to eat in the winter.

Chili, anyone? Maybe accompanied by crackers or hot dogs. Or by itself? Delicious either way.
What do you like to eat in the winter? I'm curious. Do you share my opinions or do you have other preferences for winter foods?
